Fly around on a broom you can't stop and can barely control, gather up food for nice hungry people, and score big points.

The theme was Out Of Control, so the broom isn't exactly smooth driving, and sometimes gets too excited, especially during Bonus Time.

Rotate: A/D or Left/Right - Turn the broom 45 degrees.

Altitude: W/S or Up/Down - Ascend or descend one level.

Flying near the ground leaves a trail of magic sparks -- the lower the better -- and creating loops out of those sparks will harvest up whatever delicious food you flew around. Bring that food back to the hungry households.

Homes have a set amount they need, and you must deliver that in the time allotted. Once you do deliver the food, the remaining time for that round is Bonus Time, where delivered food scores extra, and you can accumulate a Chain Bonus for collecting food and making loops in sequence.

The game ends if a wave timer ends and there are houses who still need food.

Really simple stuff. My first swing at an isometric game in Unity too. The GMTK Jam is the reverse of Ludum Dare: bring in very little code, but use whatever assets you like. Somehow I still ended up making every pixel of content when I should have just raided the asset store.

The music and sound effects were created by Chris Johnson: https://soundcloud.com/docjekyll

The entire game was developed live on twitch! https://www.twitch.tv/playdungeonmans

Participants were allowed to bring in small bits of code, and so I did in order to avoid writing some of the same boilerplate stuff that goes in every jam. I used a small tweening library, and a hand-rolled Unity audio class that manages a pool of audio sources.

Looks like a blast, any chance at a web/macOS build?

Yes, I can do so when the jam rating period is over.
